As part of its patient wellness renovation drive, the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (GPEH) incorporated 2.4m x 2.4m Revelation SkyCeilings, a new and more robust faux (virtual) skylight framework with an angled profile and deeper reveal.

The result is a more dramatic illusion of overhead skies above the treatment areas that flood the patient’s peripheral vision with the unconscious feeling of vertical vastness. The intuitive recognition of the perceived zenith enlivens our memories of proximity to the outdoors that automatically relax our physiology.
