Paris-Honotel Hotel

The Paris-Honotel Hotel Group installed a set of Luminous SkyCeilings in the interior and basement offices of its luxury hotel in Paris’ exclusive 8th arrondissement to provide the refreshing qualities of daylight and nature for their staff. The overhead blue sky creates a therapeutic illusion of perceived proximity to the outdoors, which helps regulate attention and provide a restorative sightline from the strain of computer work.

This installation shows two distinct options. In the interior office spaces, the hotel chose to recess the virtual skylights deep within a finished ceiling, which gives the Luminous SkyCeiling a much more elegant framework and composition. In the basement office, the artificial skylights show their versatility and ease of installation as they are also able to fit within the metric drop ceiling grid and still provide a valuable perceived opening in standard commercial ceilings.
